Just when you forget about your awkward years, a friend figures out how to upload VHS tapes onto YouTube. This is a blast from the past, and so sweet of my friend Tara to put together for us.
I'm at timestamps 2:45 5:29 and 6:45...hilarious.

Alt Report Pokes Fun...At Me! :)

Here's the thing...I'm 30 years old. If Hipster Runoff (and/or) affiliates are posting me - I must have some value entertainment - wise. Or maybe it's Rambo.
Thanks to Nashville's finest video man, for letting me know: Seth Graves.

Carson's Project

Our friend Carson created this amazing table for ReTune Nashville, which is an organization dedicated to turning instruments damaged in the flood into beatiful pieces of art. The pieces will be sold at an auction/concert with some huge Country names performing. The auction is to benefit those that lost their equipment and did not have the insurance to cover it.

According to Carson, the guitar belonged to a lady that is a writer here, who just fought cancer, and then lost her gear.

A Most Beautiful Song
I'm sure you've all heard this song already, but if not - it's the most beautiful song I've heard in a while. Besides dealing with such a hard topic so elegantly, this band does the modern Country format to perfection. Not too pop, not too corny.
I love the earthy 60s tone in their style, and the chick's voice is so precious and different. I used to always love the sound of my singing voice upon recovering from Laryngitis. It was a little rough and gritty. Kimberly Perry was blessed with this natural quality. Not to mention, singing with siblings always makes for the best harmonies. I'm a big fan of The Band Perry.
